This 3-week class series will be structured to: • Strengthen your body • Calm your mind • Improve community with other pre/postnatal women Benefits of yoga before and after pregnancy include: • Increasing daily energy levels • Reducing pregnancy sickness and fatigue • Reducing the impact of extra weight on posture/alignment • Reducing pregnancy weight gain • Improving the baby’s blood supply • Reducing stress, improving sleep • Preparing the body for labor and delivery • Yoga allows for a faster recovery after birth • Prepares the body for carrying and breastfeeding a new baby. -Any potential problems should be immediately addressed with a participant’s healthcare provider or midwife and must have doctors clearance/approval for exercise. -If you already have yoga bolsters or pillows, please bring them to class. Bolsters & props will be provided, and we also have bolsters available to purchase in our CYS Eco-Boutique. Open Class ~ FREE to the Community!
